here is something I wrote. cause now I pay 120 a month for car insurance.

My First Driving Ticket
( I have one more speeding and two warnings)
also three parking tickets in school.

First thing I want to make clear is that I drive very well indeed. I feel
I can drive better than most women even a good quantity of men. I
drive fast and smooth and seldom use brake. And I know almost all
the trick to avoid getting a speed ticket. My favorite trick is to find a
speeder on road and follow him till got bored, then I would discard
him and find a new one. I constantly check my mirrors just for
avoiding being caught by a policeman from the back. Normally I
check mirror once half minute or even more often. Any suggestion
about speeding is welcome!

It was on the way to Norway embassy to get my Europe visa. It is
located in the downtown of D.C. Since my default status is being
lazy, so I didn't check the map before leaving. The only thing I knew
was that as long as I kept myself on route 50 which was New York
Avenue I would reach street 34 and that was my destination. And
the destination is the intersection of street 34 and Massachusetts
Avenue. It is quite easy for a person who naturally has a good sense
of direction like me. I am careless but I didn't forget to bring three
nice cassettes with me on the road.

Everything was fine till I reached the 7th street. I couldn't go further
straight. It was frustrated and I chose to turn left than right. The
outcome was fine. After going further one block, I met
Massachusetts Avenue. It was so easy I said to myself. After one
more block, the street name changed to K Street. I didn't turn and
there was no other choice to turn anyway. So I kept going. The street
name changed to New York Avenue again. See life is not that
difficult. I started smiling. I successfully passed street 9,10 etc.

Finally the road was blocked by something like a small park. I
watched very carefully and I could swear I didn't see any street close
to New York Avenue. What was wrong? I asked a guy and he told
me back the car and went one more block and turned left. Easy! I did
very fast. The fact was I turned on a one-way road with opposite
direction. See never trust a stranger. :) No problem for me. I only
needed ten seconds to correct my big mistake. Unfortunately a
policeman passed by at the right time. He stopped me and gave me a
ticket. Last year I got a warning for speeding. But the policeman was
a young handsome guy and could be moved by a pretty young girl.
Besides he was extremely nice too. It is not a problem for a speeding
ticket. I deserve it anyway. But to have a ticket like that is a hugh
embarrassment for an excellent driver like me. I couldn't bear that
although I knew nobody could be lucky all the time. But nothing I
could do. I asked the direction from that black and finally reached
the Embassy smoothly. The darkest part was I didn't bring the
airplane ticket with me and they refused to give me the visa. I
couldn't believe this would happen on me!
